Join us in Botswana and explore the beauty of the Moremi Wildlife Reserve where you will set up camp each night, go on game drives, walks and explore channels by mokoro (dugout canoe). Next you will enter the Caprivi Strip, where your camp will be set up overlooking the Okavango River. Next stop, the Chobe River and then on to Livingstone to view Victoria Falls. A beautiful, rustic experience you’ll never forget

Our canoe trips fill up fast, so get your registration with Centennial Canoe in early. Call 720-283-0553 for further information. Prices for all trips include all meals, canoes, paddles, life jackets, cooking utensils, waterproof gear bags, toilet paper, and other comforts. A list of suggested supplies will be provided after registration.

Family Canoe Trips
These river trips are designed for families and wildlife enthusiasts. Participants will explore the river’s geology, history and ecology. Your Denver Zoo educator will share wildlife stories, animal specimens, and guide hands-on activities for kids of all ages. We’ll camp along the way and take time out for swimming in hidden pools and hiking canyon trails.

White River
June 5-7, for participants age 6 and up

Beer Tasting on the Gunnison River—New!

Join Jeff Brown, President of Boulder Beer Company (Colorado’s first micro-brewery), for a unique and educational look into the micro-brewing beer industry and how it differs from macro-breweries.  The best part will be sampling various styles of beer and learning how they are made.  After a day spent outdoors paddling and hiking, a cold beer around the campsite sure sounds great.  Don’t worry, we will keep the beer cold!  Adults only.

Wine Tasting on the Colorado River
August 7-9, for participants age 21 years and up
Cost: $335

Join Sue Phillips, owner of the Plum Creek Winery in Palisade, Colorado, for a delightful weekend of wine tasting and education.  Plum Creek is Colorado’s most award-winning winery and has received over 325 awards.  It continues to excel in international, national, and regional competition.  During happy hour and the evening meal, Sue will feature her favorites and explain which wines compliment which foods.  Adults only.
