Avery Brewing Co.

From humble beginnings, brewing 800 barrels of three different beers in 1994, we have progressed to brewing 13,000 barrels of twenty different beers in 2007. We attribute this success to beer drinkers gravitating to beers with more interesting flavor profiles. The unique flavor complexity of Avery beers occurs through a combination of sparing no expense with regard to ingredients and our hopping methods. Sparing no expense means using lots of specialty malts, imported hops, such as Styrian Goldings, and imported Belgian candy sugar .We love to brew it, knowing you love to drink it!

In 1979 two CU professors applied for and received the 43rd brewing license issued in the United States, creating Boulder Beer Company, Colorado’s 1st Microbrewery. The original site of the brewery was a small farm northeast of Boulder, the brewhouse sharing space with a few goats. Early on, the brewery won industry and consumer accolades for its line of Boulder Beers: Boulder Porter, Stout and Extra Pale Ale. Five years later, the brewery moved to its current site in Boulder and has since expanded from an original one-barrel brewing system to a 50-barrel brew house with top-of-the-line packaging equipment. The facility has a capacity to produce 43,000 barrels of award-winning beer annually.

Breckenridge Brewery
Website: www.breckenridgebrewery.com

471 Kalamath Street Denver, CO 80204   Phone: 303.623.2739
In the past fifteen years we've grown from a small 3,000-barrels-a-year brewpub to one of the most successful craft beer companies in the nation. We now handcraft nearly 30,000 barrels of fresh beer each year and sell it across Colorado and 25 other states. Today Breckenridge Brewery continues to work hard to satisfy the thirsts of discerning beer drinkers. Richard's original recipes – and a handful of seasonal creations – are now handcrafted at our three Breckenridge Brewery locations in Colorado. In 1992 we opened our sister brewpub in downtown Denver, at 22nd and Blake Street. Just a block from Coors Field, home of the Colorado Rockies, our Denver brewpub is home to locals, baseball fans and Denver visitors who seek a quality meal and craft beer with character.

So, if you should get your hands on a Bristol beer, know that it was brewed fresh no more than a few hours from where you're sitting. We take extra care to make our beers better because we like to drink them.We hope you will, too.

We ignore costs, fads, and difficulty in creating our ales. And, while we are very serious about the art and business of beer making, we try to avoid taking ourselves too seriously.
